“The First Dance”

As he catches a glimpse of his bride,
He’s lost in the glow of her eyes.
He whispers inside,
“What a beautiful love I’ve found in this life.”
He gently reaches for her hand,
In this moment, life feels so grand.
Her heart begins to sway,
As emotions softly drift her away.
They step to the floor hand in hand,
On the edge of dreams they planned.
They give the DJ a knowing glance,
Then lose themselves in their first dance.
This is the first dance,
Where two hearts beat as one.
A fairytale begins,
As their new life has begun.
They each hold back a tear,
In a moment so pure and clear.
They move with gentle grace,
Love glowing on each face.
Their fingers softly entwine,
In a love so strong, so divine.
They glance at the rings they wear,
And feel a joy beyond compare.
